We are the UBC Cooking Club – a club that creates a welcoming environment and a safe space where individuals learn to cook and bake delicious and healthy foods. Throughout our workshops, you are able to pick up new recipes and meet new like-minded friends who are also interested in cooking or baking!
Membership prices are $10 for one term (Sept - Dec 2026, or Jan - Apr 2027) and $17 for the entire year (Sept 2026 - Apr 2027). You can join through the link in our Instagram bio, or in-person at one of our events.
By being a Cooking Club member, you would get discounted prices for workshops and be able to benefit from our year-round sponsors that are being added on an ongoing basis. The sponsor list will be updated on our Instagram or newsletter. You can sign up for our newsletter through the link on our Instagram bio too.
No, there are no regular meetings for general members. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the workshops prepared by our executives.
We have biweekly workshops and there is a specific sign-up sheet for each workshop. The details of the workshop and the RSVP form will be uploaded on our Instagram account around a week before the workshop. Spots fill in quickly, so don’t forget to register ASAP.
